Cramer :: Potato planters :: Marathon 6 row

In this system the scoop takes one to two potatoes during the upward movement of the scooping chain. The second potato is the spare potato so to speak. On the horizontal section at the upper turning point the surplus potato then falls back into the hopper. This patented procedure allows non-sized potatoes or very long varieties to be planted without causing double planting or missing tubers. The standard machine is working with high capacity and has a 3300 kg bunker. The capacity of the individual cups can be modified by fitting inserts for small or larger potatoes. Equal distances in the row are guaranteed by a slip free chain drive in the form of gearwheels. The standard machine is with: - Red insert cups 35/55mm - Manual markers - Parallelogram, controlled by an adjustable depth wheel, following the surface of the field. - Mechanical vibrator, adjustable of 6 stages. - Synchronized drive on all planting elements.
